Silver medallion "Vladimir"

The silver medal "Vladimir" is made from fine silver 999/1000 and weighs 8 gr. The front of the coin depicts the face of Vladimir holding in his hand the globe and on the back - a scene from the Annunciation. The medal has a casing which allows it to be used as a medallion.
Vladimir Ist The Great was a prince of Kiev's Russia from 980 to 1015 and a christian saint. He played a decisive role in the establishment of the Orthodox Church in Russia and conducted active enlightenment activities. St. Vladimir laid the foundations on which the millennial temple of Russian faith, nation, state, and Russian culture were found. He is considered the spiritual ancestor of the Russian people.
